FAQ

Short answers for property lookup, source freshness, monitoring, and plans.

What can I search today?

Public lookup accepts an exact BBL, supported address, or BIN. Exact BBLs can open directly; address and BIN searches show BBL-backed results for review first.

Why do official addresses differ?

City systems can use aliases, ranges, abbreviations, or older labels. BBL is the matching key for a NYC tax lot.

What does a BBL page show?

A BBL page shows available identity details, public record context, source freshness notes, alternate labels when available, and official links.

What does freshness mean?

Freshness tells you when PropSignal last checked or last loaded a source. Official portals can update on different schedules.

What does a free account unlock?

A free account creates a signed-in workspace for saved context as account features open.

Are payments open?

Free signup does not collect a card. Paid plans use reviewed access before checkout.

Where should I read more?

Use Resources for guides and checklists, the BBL glossary for identifiers, and Support when displayed property context needs review.

Is PropSignal advice?

PropSignal organizes public-record context for review. It does not make legal, tax, lending, or investment decisions for you.
