Agreement to Terms
PropSignal is operated by GoodForge Labs LLC. By accessing and using PropSignal, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement.
Description of Service
PropSignal organizes public NYC property record context, BBL-based property research, scheduled monitoring workflows, and portfolio review tools. Monitoring workflows run on a schedule, and users should verify important details in official source systems.
User Accounts
Registration
To use our service, you must create an account and provide accurate account information.
Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
Service Terms
Monitoring Scope
Our service organizes publicly available NYC property data including:
- Property ownership records
- Building permits and applications
- Property tax information
- Violations, complaints, liens, filings, and public-record context
Data Accuracy
Information from public sources may have gaps, errors, or delays, and users should verify important details in official source systems.
Scheduled Monitoring
Our monitoring service operates on a scheduled basis. Important records should be verified with official source systems.
Subscription and Payment
Paid Plans
Paid monitoring and portfolio features require a subscription. Stripe hosts Checkout and billing flows. During early access, paid checkout opens only after account and billing approval.
Billing
Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis. Prices are listed before applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Taxes may be calculated and collected by Stripe when tax settings and accounting sign-off are enabled.
Cancellation and Refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time through supported billing flows or by contacting support. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically refund the active billing period. Monitoring access and property records may be available after activation, so same-period refunds are not automatic. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law, stated in a separate written policy, or approved by PropSignal for issues such as duplicate charges, billing errors, or a service problem we cannot reasonably resolve.
Launch Waitlist
Requesting access does not create a paid subscription. Access is reviewed and may be declined. We use request-access information to contact you about access, selected plan interest, and selected feature interest.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Violate any laws in your jurisdiction
- Resell or redistribute our data without permission
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the service
Intellectual Property
The service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by GoodForge Labs LLC and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. PropSignal is a product and brand of GoodForge Labs LLC.
Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of the service and waitlist.
Disclaimers
Our service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no representations or warranties of any kind.
Limitation of Liability
In no event shall GoodForge Labs LLC, PropSignal, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
Governing Law
These terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in New York County, New York.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any changes by posting the new terms on this page.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
